Violet-Hued and Green Groundcover Plus Strong Growth
Soft lilac blooms and grassy, richly-hued green foliage define the Society Garlic. And its beauty makes it one of the most versatile groundcover options available, especially since it spreads slowly and propagates easily. That means adaptability and versatility for you, wherever you need it.
And it works as a showy house plant in colder areas. The Society Garlic imparts year-round visual interest, regardless of the weather outside, since it’s tolerant of both cold and drought. But if you live in a chillier part of the county, simply bring your Society inside. Its larger, tubular flowers and cream-striped leaves shine no matter where they’re placed.
However, the best part is that our Society Garlic is a proven performer. We’ve grown this strong, stunning plant in optimal conditions, so your Society Garlic is primed for best results. Because we’ve put in the hard work, long before it ships, you get consistency season after season. Our Society Garlic is planted, grown and meticulously monitored at our nursery for ultra-high quality.
Color, hassle-free care and cold hardiness, as well as drought tolerance: The Society Garlic has it all and shines from edging to borders and beyond. Order your Society Garlic Plant today, before it’s gone!
Planting & Care
To plant your Society Garlic (container or in-ground), dig a hole that’s deep enough to cover the plant’s root ball. After placing your Society Garlic, tamp down the soil while backfilling to avoid air pocket. Finally, water your plant to settle the soil that surrounds the roots. If you plant in a container, simply ensure it has drainage holes.
2. Watering: Water your Society Garlic deeply and regularly during the first full growing season so that it establishes a healthy root system. If you’re not sure when to water your plant, simply check the top 2 to 3 inches of its surrounding soil – if it’s dry, it’s time to water. We recommend watering about once weekly for best results. Once your Society Garlic is established, watering frequency may be reduced.
3. Pruning: Remove old or faded foliage before new leaves emerge for a tidier appearance.
