Giant, Pure White Blooms
Annabelle Hydrangeas consistently deliver huge blooms with little maintenance. They’re a favorite among the hydrangea community, and for good reason.
These plants need very little care, but still wow you with giant 12-inch blooms every summer! In fact, these blooms get bigger and bigger as you get deeper into summer.
The blooms are so big that they’ve become the preferred cut-flower arrangement among hydrangeas. Just snip a few off and place them around your home!
They’re tough, adaptable plants too. Annabelle Hydrangeas thrive from south Florida to California, and all the way north to Minnesota.
They withstand extreme weather conditions, so you don’t have to worry about babying your hydrangeas. No serious disease or insect problems, either.
You can even plant it along your front walk or against a foundation. Annabelle Hydrangea blooms from midsummer through the first frost.
It’s also one of the few hydrangeas to tolerate heavy shade. It does fine in a variety of soils, too. You can truly plant it just about anywhere.
The Annabelle blooms on new wood, so pruning will not impair flowering. We suggest a light pruning of spent flowers in the fall and a heavy pruning in the winter only cutting back no more than a third of the plant.
