Planting & Care
1. Planting: Choose an area with full sun (6 to 8 hours of sunlight) and well-drained soil or select a container with drainage holes for planting.
Dig a hole that’s around twice the size of your plant’s root ball and just as deep, with a bit of extra room to grow. Then, place the tree, tamp down the soil and water to settle the roots.
When planting the Orange Shrimp Plant in a container, ensure it has drainage holes and use organic soil mix. Then, place in a sunny area on your porch, patio or indoors.
2. Watering: Water twice weekly or check your soil. Generally, you should check your soil about 2 to 3 inches down for dryness – if the soil is dry here, water your plant.
3. Pruning: Remove any damaged or dead foliage and spent blooms to encourage growth.
