Amazing Addition to any Landscape
The Rising Sun Redbud Tree is one of those trees that you may have seen in a neighbor’s garden, always remembered and wanted for your own landscaping. After the breathtaking flowers finish their show, the leaves emerge and go through several color changes including apricot, yellow, gold, peach and green. The heart-shaped leaves grow over one another in a multitude of layers. When the gentle, late spring and summer winds blow, the leaves remind us of wind chimes or sequins or even a leafy kaleidoscope. What we also like about the Rising Sun Redbud Tree is that it is not too large or overpowering; two or three can be planted in a modestly-sized yard for a wonderful effect.
Hardy & Resilient
Despite is beauty, the Rising Sun Redbud Tree is not at all picky as to its growing conditions. It tolerates a wide temperature range and soil conditions. They can go through dry spells and require minimal upkeep. We do recommend a thick layer of mulch around the tree to help the ground retain moisture and add to the organics of the soil.
Planting is Easy!
When planting your Rising Sun Redbud Tree we advise that the hole should be about three times the size of the root ball. Amend the soil with compost especially if you have heavy clay. With Redbuds, we like to plant them in a way such that at the point at the top of the root ball where the roots are just beginning to separate is slightly above ground level.
A happy Rising Sun Redbud Tree grows vigorously and helps homeowners of a new property create landscaping that looks more established.
